Enluxtra™ Self-Adaptive Wound Dressing Clinical Results
Patient:
The patient is an 80-year-old female, non-ambulatory. Co-morbidities: hypertension, chronic kidney disease, neurofibromatosis, hyperlipidemia, osteoporosis, glaucoma, GERD, anemia, urinary incontinence.
Wound and previous treatment:
A radiation burn of the right buttock started during the 4th week of the patient’s radiation treatment. No previous wound treatment was administered.
Enluxtra treatment:
Enluxtra dressing treatment started in December, 2015 with daily dressing changes during the patient’s last week of radiation treatment. Enluxtra dressing change frequency was reduced to 1-2 per week from December 16 to completion.
